Apple iPad Mini Going into Production This Month: Analyst
Production for Apple's much-rumoured iPad Mini could begin as early as this month (assuming it's real).
An analyst told CNET via email that panel production for the 7.85-inch display is expected to start in August. Initial production will be slow, but high volumes will be reached by the end of the year, he suggests.
"We expect panel production to start in August, with production ramping up to high volumes (more than a million units per month) in the fourth quarter," said Paul Semenza, an analyst at NPD DisplaySearch.
