Olympic Gymnastics 2012: Aly Raisman Should Win Gold for Women's Floor Exercise
In today's Olympics schedule, Aly Raisman will be competing for a gold medal for Team USA during the women's floor exercise competition. Raisman faces tough competition against athletes like teammate Jordyn Wieber and Lauren Mitchell from Australia.
If all goes well for Raisman, she should be expected to clasp a gold medal around her chest after all is said and done. At only 18-years-old, Raisman is one of the best women's floor exercise competitors in the world. She is graceful, athletic and her landings are nearly perfect.
She was the 2012 U.S. floor exercise champion and received a bronze medal during her floor exercise performance at the 2011 World Championships.
