Manchester City plot 80m swoop for Edinson Cavani and Radamel Falcao

Manchester City have reportedly made initial enquiries about signing Napoli's Edinson Cavani and Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao.

Both clubs would demand at least 40 million each for their prized assets, but Abu Dhabi-backed Man City plan to free up some space in the club's wage bill by offloading four strikers.

Carlos Tevez, Edin Dzeko, Emmanuel Adebayor and Roque Santa Cruz could all be put up for sale in order to fund moves for Cavani and Falcao.
