Dundee United: 'Outstanding sums have still not been paid'
Dundee United say they have still not been paid money owed to them by Rangers, despite claims to the contrary by Charles Green.
Green, who led the consortium which took over Rangers, said on Monday that all debts owed to Scottish clubs had been settled.
But United said in a statement: "Following recent press reports and consequent follow-up enquiries, Dundee United confirm that the outstanding sums due from the Scottish Cup tie played at Ibrox Stadium last season have still not been paid.
"This matter now rests with the football authorities and no further comment will be made by the club."
United were owed 65,981 when Rangers went into liquidation in June. All debts were... [via Guardian - Football]
