MANASSAS, VA The Northern Virginia Majestics dropped their final match of the season 4-0 to the Fredericksburg Impact Saturday night at Hellwig Memorial Park to close out their season. Despite their two game winning streak, the home side Majestics spent much of the night defending a persistent Fredericksburg attack.

Playing their fourth game in seven days, the sluggish Majestics struggled throughout the first half to find any offensive thrust at all. In contrast, Fredericksburg pressured relentlessly, fully aware of the playoff implications on the line. The Impact win sets the stage for their matchup with the Virginia Beach Piranhas on Sunday to determine the final seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
