Morning Report: Rory MacDonald Challenges BJ Penn, UFC Joins Forces With EA Sports

This is how these things start. B.J. Penn cracks opens the door by publicly waffling. The UFC catches winds of it and sends Josh Koscheck to try and stir something up. The first public call-out hits, and just like that, the wheels are in motion.

By then it doesn't matter when Penn rejects the challenge, because how much can a rejection matter when it's that half-hearted and waffley? So with an open invitation, 22-year-old ultra-prospect Rory MacDonald (aka, one of Penn's rival's closest friends) comes along and sweetens the pot.
