For the 25th anniversary of the classic rock album, we'd like to hear your thoughts about how it still stands up

Hysteria, Def Leppard's fourth studio album, turned 25 this month. Released on 3 August 1987, the album took an arduous four years to make, in which time the band struggled with the pressures of fame, falling out with producers and various personal upheavals not least the car crash in which drummer Rick Allen lost his arm.

Hysteria was a smash hit, selling 20m copies worldwide and topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. On its rerelease in 2006, the Guardian's Caroline Sullivan wrote:

Hysteria contended that commercial tunefulness and bludgeoning riffs did not have to be mutually exclusive propositions Nineteen years on, it still rocks loudly and euphorically.
