Rising star Lianne La Havas to support Erykah Badu @ BluesFest 2012, London

Hotly-tipped soul-jazz songstress Lianne La Havas, hailed by one US critic as "the most striking female voice to emerge from Britain since Adele", has been confirmed as the support act for Erykah Badu's highly anticipated show at Hammersmith Apollo next Wednesday June 27, 2012.

In little over a year, La Havas has gone from performing in tiny jazz clubs to making national TV appearances, touring the US with Bon Iver and gracing stages at some of the UK's biggest music festivals.

This Hammersmith Apollo date, part of BluesFest 2012, sees Erykah Badu make a welcome return to London following her sold out show at Brixton Academy last summer.
