Coachella 2012: M83, and too much of a good thing

In 3 or Fewer Words: Need bigger tent.
Memorable Because: Anthony Gonzalez and crew are, of course, a known quantity in these parts, but like the youngsters from L.A. who waited four hours on the rail to ensure they wouldnt be shut out [see today's introductory post], I wanted to see the festival presentation, even with no fewer than four Coachella sets commanding attention at the same time. Turns out it was similar to their past two L.A. tour stops; still, though, it was a rafter-rattler of the highest degree, the crowd going nuts for Midnight City. Pure claustrophobia induced me to escape the M83 tent for a couple of songs to catch some of the Black Angels in... [via Buzzbands]
