Apostle Rising is the debut novel from London playwright and short fiction writer Richard Godwin. Godwin has been a prolific contributor to numerous online publications, notably A Twist of Noir and Pulp Metal, and those familiar with his work will justifiably have high hopes for Apostle Rising.

The novel centres on the troubled DCI Frank Castle and his partner, DI Jacki Stone, as they investigate the crimes of two serial killers working in parallel. One of these killers is a copycat, recreating a series of murders that defeated Castle nearly thirty years ago, saw him pilloried in the press and that he has been dangerously obsessed with ever since.
