David Moyes will come up against Jos Mourinho in the second game of the season when Chelsea visit Old Trafford for the new Manchester United manager's first home game.

Before that, Moyes opens the 2013-14 campaign at the League Cup winners Swansea on 17 August and then after hosting Chelsea, United go to Liverpool on 31 August.

The returning Mourinho's side begin against promoted Hull at Stamford Bridge, while Manuel Pellegrini's reign at Manchester City starts with a home match against Newcastle, who confirmed Joe Kinnear as their director of football on Tuesday. Arsenal are at home to Aston Villa.

The Saints have opened talks with Celtic about signing Wanyama for 10 million.

Southampton have leapt to the front of the cue to sign highly rated Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama according to the Sun.

The club also want to sign former Chelsea winger Miroslav Stoch, who currently plays for Fenerbache.

The Saints hope to sign both players for around 15 million as they look to re-in force their midfield for the start of next season.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Inter Milan have all been interested in Wanyama, who has had a very successfulseason at Celtic Park, being one of the clubs stand-out performers in their victory over Barcelona in the Champions League.

A group of football supporters led by the Spirit of Shankly fangroup are marching to the Premier League headquarters in London on Wednesday afternoon to protest about the rising price of matchday tickets. These fans are walking from Regents Park to Gloucester Place at 2pm as they believe that attending football matches is too important an experience to give up.

Centre-back Zach Fagan is poised to be offered a second chance at Arsenal after the club reversed their initial decision to release him.

The 18-year-old, who came through the clubs Hale End system, has impressed in patches since signing his scholarship two years ago, but has also made several costly and avoidable errors during that time and was expected to be released when his deal expired at the end of this month.

However, after fellow centre-back Elton Monteiro turned down Arsenals offer of a new deal in favour of a move to Club Brugge, Fagan has now been offered an extension of his scholarship, which would see the youngster become a third-year scholar next season- the first Arsenal player to do so for over a decade.

So the Carphone Warehouse got in touch with me about errr phones and stuff. Theyve knocked together a video of a guy who uses his mobile phone to run around the countryside blind. Pretty amazing stuff really. I cant work my way around London fully sighted with a Google map. Anyway, they wanted to know how the smartphone has impacted what I do and they also asked if I had managed to capture anything amazing over the years because of it.

Well, I thought that was quite an interesting question because for me, the smartphone has taken an addiction for many people and amplified it to disgraceful levels. 10 years ago you could take an extremely grainy picture on a mobile phone and send it to a pal and itd take three weeks and cost you 42. Nowadays you can run an entire community from your pocket.

After a quite few days theres bit of an avalanche of Arsenal related news this morning most of which revolves around Real Madrids Gonzalo Higuain.

After it seemed as if Juve were odds on to land the striker Arsenal now appear to have assumed pole position with several papers suggesting that the club have tabled a 20 million bid which apparently is a few million more than Juve were offering.

It now seems that Juve will spend the cash on previous Arsenal target Fiorentinas Stevan Jovetic, and possibly even Man Citys Carlos Tevez.

The Standard does report though that the main problem with the deal has been the managerial situation at the Bernabeu with Real not yet in a position to confirm as replacement for Jose Mourinhio.

Photographs of Evertons home shirt for the 2013-14 season have been leaked on the Internet.

Designed by Nike, the most striking characteristic of Evertons new home shirt is their unusual sleeve design that looks far better on a long-sleeve shirt instead of the short-sleeve shirt. On the short sleeve version, they just look like big white cuffs.

The Everton home shirt features a traditional collar. The shirt design also features the new Everton club crest, which will be used for just one season before the club changes it at the end of 2013-14.
